What’s Included
Advanced memory skills are required for accurately performing message transfer tasks during clinical encounters. In this 1-hour performance-based live webinar, we will explore techniques and tools to aid memory development for the consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translations modes. Using a research approach based on Gile’s Gravitational Model and recent tools, such as digital flashcard creation systems, spaced repetition, term extraction, and paraphrasing exercises, we will put these concepts into practice in session. By the end of this course, you will be equipped to customize your personal memory skills practice to advance your skills, prepare for a certification exam, and/or recall longer chunks of information during your interpreting encounters.
