What’s Included
In this 1-hour webinar, participants will examine how consecutive interpreting performance is evaluated in certification and workplace settings. The session reviews common error types, including omissions, additions, substitutions, grammar errors, pronunciation errors, changes in register, and technique-related breakdowns. Participants will learn to distinguish between errors affecting meaning and accuracy, as well as language delivery issues such as grammar and register, and technique breakdowns. This approach supports clearer self-assessment and more targeted skill development for practicing medical interpreters and certification candidates.
