This is a 1-hour performance-based workshop to teach medical interpreters how to use soft skills during interpersonal interactions with LEP patients, healthcare providers, and other colleagues. This session will explore soft skills in general, as well as those that are ideal for a healthcare setting. Learners will be introduced to research-based strategies for developing soft skills that will enhance communication with multiple stakeholders and improve the odds for professional advancement.
